Moore’s Texaco Station

Moore’s Texaco Station at Hwy 36 and First Street in Phillipsburg, Kansas, pictured here in 1957.

The station was purchased by Chet Moore and his son Bob Moore in 1945. They also had an ice distributing service. Their station had motel cottages to the West of the station. Moore’s sold Texaco gas from 1947 to 1980. The business was in existence until the early 1980s.
